Wishon Radiological Medical Group – Expanding pediatric radiology practice seeks a fellowship-trained pediatric radiologist to join a high-level pediatric imaging group.

Wishon Radiological Medical Group (WRMG) includes a strong cadre of pediatric radiologists who provide professional services for Valley Children’s Hospital (VCH), a large (358 bed) tertiary care children’s hospital in Madera, CA (https://www.valleychildrens.org/), and for Valley Children’s Healthcare system, an expanding network of pediatric providers and facilities throughout the Central Valley of California. The large patient population served by VCH provides a challenging and varied mix of cases and pathology. The VCH imaging department performs a wide range of examinations in all modalities, including advanced MRI techniques. The available position would entail 100% pediatric imaging and is full-time partnership track. This is a truly unique opportunity to be involved in high-level pediatric imaging in a private practice setting.

WRMG is located in Fresno, California, the heart of California’s Central Valley. Fresno is the fifth largest city in California with a population in excess of 500,000. Fresno has all the benefits of a large city, such as concerts, Broadway shows, a zoo, universities, and museums, but maintains a small town feel. Housing costs are a fraction of those in other cities within a few hour drive (San Francisco, 185 miles; Sacramento, 170 miles; and Los Angeles, 220 miles). Outstanding K-12 educational opportunities are available including the Clovis Unified School District, magnet schools, and excellent private schools. California’s Central Coast is a short 2-3 hour drive away, providing easy access for weekend trips to the beach. There are three beautiful National Parks (Yosemite, Kings Canyon, and Sequoia) within a short drive, allowing nearly endless possibilities for outdoor recreation.

In addition to fellowship training in pediatric radiology, ideal candidates will share a strong work ethic, outstanding clinical skills, and a desire to work in a highly collaborative and supportive environment dedicated to providing the highest quality care to our patients. Subspecialty interests within pediatric radiology are a plus, but not a requirement.
